I have Windows XP on my computer. I have WMP 11 with Media Sharing turned on. My PlayStation 3 saw my songs, pictures, etc., and all was well.
I bought some "speed up my computer" software. After using it, my PS3 no longer sees my computer. I decided the software must have removed something from my registry (wild guess), so I rolled back my WMP to an earlier version, then re-installed WMP 11. I enabled Media Sharing.
When you enable Media Sharing, a box opens up and shows who is trying to access your media. That box used to have one entry (my PS3). Now its empty.
We have a 2nd computer (the wife's). I decided to enable Media Sharing on her machine. The PS3 finds her computer just fine.
What do I need to to get Media Sharing to work again on this computer?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
