Windows Media only?

I found that that windows media the download from windows does not that well on a mac. Although it does work sometimes. It seems like many sites that aren?t mainstream are almost always QuickTime or the files are QuickTime/windows media. I tried to watch holiday help desk and win the xbox360 and found out it didn?t work. dang

There is other programs that make windows media files work on a mac better but is there a reason why windows media is better then other media file types? If so I will become a ?believer? I might have phrase the question wrong but you get what I'm talking about hopefully.

This is a little off topic but thanks a lot for the shout out. I really thought it was cool beans. BIG TIME I was listing during my art class and I was like was that my name omg it was no one else name is that freakin long its me its me, by the way love the show. Thanks a lot I was so shocked and happy. Oh and im a girl. But its ok, I have one of those names. also you said my name almost perfect closer then most people get. ''Hola-To-kum-ba'' Olatokunbo. Its easy in a left handed kinda way. It?s from another country. '' it means far away from home''.

Glad I got close on pronouncing your name. And sorry about the gender assumption.

Holiday Helpdesk was in flash video so it should have worked fine on a Mac but there may have been other issues.

Windows Media is horrible on a Mac, it's not just you. Anybody else on the forums got suggestions?
