windows media 10 dvd burning

does anyone know how to get windows media player 10 to burn a dvd cause my friends computer can do it. He had his computer from dell for christmas and if he wants to burn a dvd all he has to do is click burn on the windows media player and select dvd and click burn. But the option to burn a dvd in windows media 10 isnt there on mine.
