windows media 10 dvd burning

does anyone know how to get windows media player 10 to burn a dvd cause my friends computer can do it. He had his computer from dell for christmas and if he wants to burn a dvd all he has to do is click burn on the windows media player and select dvd and click burn. But the option to burn a dvd in windows media 10 isnt there on mine.

used to have nero 7 so had the plugin but it only burns data dvds not tidy dvds to play in a dvd player

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
