General discussion

Windows ME

Jun 5, 2005 4:24AM PDT

For some unknown reason we can't get to certian pages on the internet ( Ebay being one of the sites ). We've tried Internet Options under Tools, we've tried shutting down Macafee and Zone Alarm but all of our attempts have been fruitless. We called our internet service provider and they could'nt figure the problem out either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated........

Thank You Kindly
Lorraine

I did try it at one point, but did not like its utility.

Are you suggesting that Fire fox would work when IE does not?

IE was working on these site 48hrs ago, and to my knowlegde, nothing has been changed in/on the computer.

TIA

If nothing changed, then ..

There is nothing to fix on your computer.

As to Firefox, like it or not, it helps me tell if it's the browser or somehing about networking. But given that you are sure nothing changed with the machine, then we need to look elsewhere.

Where else do we look?

Clues please.

Run add or remove programs in control panel, point to
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 & Internet tools; then
try add or remove key, open the appl.and there are three options: add, repair or restore Internet Explorer... See advanced key too...then try to repair your Explorer from here with all this options....
Good luck....
