Windows Mail screen layout settings question.

Jul 30, 2008 7:18AM PDT

First, I'm the one who goofed this up. I'm sure there is a very simple answer to this but I can't find it.

(screen now) Folders pane on the left side of screen from top to bottom. This is fine.
Inbox pane to the right of folders pane from top to bottom.
Message pane to the right of inbox pane from top to bottom.

What I would like is the inbox pane moved up to the top and the message pane below the inbox pane.

Personally

Personally, after the raging security nightmare that was Outlook Express, I wouldn't go anywhere near Windows Mail for fear of the same.

I'd look to something different altogether. While far from an exhaustive list, some alternatives that come to mind would be Mozilla Thunderbird, Eudora, and The Bat.

A simple fix...

Go View->Layout and select "Below messages" before clicking OK.

Hope this helps,
John

Try this: press Alt then v then l, then choose the "Below messages" option on the next window.
