Windows Mail in Vista Premium

Jul 6, 2007 2:31PM PDT

Why can't you set up Windows Mail in Vista Home Premium from web mail sites? Seems useless to have the program if you can't use it. All my email accounts are web based (Hotmail, Yahoo, gMail,etc.). I have Hotmail Premium, but I don't like it much. Liked the features I saw in Windows Mail and want to use that. Any info?

Download Windows Live Mail Desktop...
Jul 6, 2007 4:23PM PDT
Windows Live Mail Desktop is the designated replacement to both Outlook Express on Windows XP and Windows Mail on Windows Vista. Currently in the final stretch of the beta cycle, it's a stable client that supports HTTP accounts such as Hotmail, a feature left out of Windows Mail. Aside from that you'll have to look for a third-party solution, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, an open-source e-mail client.

Hope this helps,
John
