Windows Mail

Aug 12, 2008 9:50AM PDT

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium on a Gateway Laptop. When I want to send a page via email and I right click on the page and choose Send to mail recipient, Windows Mail comes up. I am using Thunderbird and I do not want to change to Windows Mail. Is there a simple setting I can change to keep Windows Mail from coming up and getting Thunderbird to come up? Thanks.

Never mind, I found the setting. Boy, Windows Vista sure makes you search for stuff that was so easy in XP.

Not hard to find.

It's actualy not hard to find. If you open Thunderbird the first time it will ask you if you whant it as the default e-mail clientm, just say yes. Changeing default applications is eaven easer by clicking on Default programs on the start menu. In XP it's eaven harder to find have to go into add/remove programs - "set program access and defaults". In XP Thunderbird will also as on start if you whant it as default e-mail program. Both Windows XP and Vista can change them from internet options under the programs tab - (Email in XP and Set programs in Vista).
