I have a Compaq Presario F577CL with a bad charging port I had to put aside and buy one for immediate use. I finally fixed it and can't remember the password. I boots up fine and has no other issues (besides age) Manufacturer and Microsoft are useless in this. How do I set a new password or delete the current one. Please help, I want to give this to someone to use.

Thank you for that tip : ) I had some issues with ntpasswd, but only because the folder is zipped and I don't want to pay for winzip. I got that taken care of though. I managed to get into the computer and now I have a load of other problems. Thanks again, that was very helpful.
