Windows Live password reset

I unfortunately lost my password and have had nothing but brick walls trying to get it reset. During the reset process windows requested that all cookies be deleted - now my auto login does not work.

Each time I go through the request procedure, I get a message that windows live is having problems and can't do the request.

Is aanyone having this problem? Does anyone know ho to fix it?

I have a Compag Presario, 3 gig mem, 500 gig HD, running at 2.8

I got a message from Windows Live ID last night and was able to get through the process of resetting the password.
