I don't know if there are any proper ways to do this, but what if you disconnect from your network, then open WLM?
It should then 'fail to connect' to the sever and stop trying to send that email. Perhaps then you can delete it.
How large or how many photos in this email?

when sending mail with large photos windows mail keeps trying to send it and i cant cancel or delete it , and i cant open up live mail because its trying to send it ,
