by vmars956 / November 28, 2009 2:10 AM PST

When ever i open winLiveMail, it always opens as maximized.
Is there an option i can set to cause it to open
with the same screen size as last use?

Not sure but

This often worked/works for similar problems in XP. Open WLM, reduce the size from Maximised and resize to your preferred size. Minimise to the Taskbar, then recall it to the Desktop.

Close down using File > Exit.

Restart WLM. Does that work?

If not, are you using a Desktop shortcut to open WLM? If so, right click that Desktop shortcut and select Properties, then check through the options. You are looking for the "Run:" command, and if it says Maximised, select "Normal Window" instead.

Hope that helps.

You need to change screen resolution.

Try with an standard screen resolution, like 800x600 or 1280 x 720.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
