Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80004005 how to corrct it

live mail will not receive or send mail, this error comes up all the time
Unable to send or receive messages for the Bigpond***** ******** account. An unknown error has occurred.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest that you reconfigure your account to isolate the issue. Please refer to the following steps:

1. Backup you Windows Live Mail and refer to this link.

2. Uninstall Windows Live Mail. Refer to this link for the steps. (

3. Download and install Windows Live Mail.

4. Configure your email account.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
