Question

Windows Live Mail - cannot empty deleted folder

My deleted folder has about 30 messages in it and when I click on the option 'Empty deleted items folder', either only 1 single message deletes or nothing at all happens.
I can delete messages one by one, obviously a nuisance.

I don't remember having to do this until recently; somehow I think that in the past the folder emptied out when I shut down the computer. But I may be wrong, don't remember things too well any longer.

Bob, thanks as always for a quick response.

It must have been a short-lived gremlin in my Windows Live Mail -
deleted folder emptied out again the next day!

Will keep the link, just in case it should happen again.
