That is likely a script running in the email.
Did you try it with other email clients?
And just so you know, this is all Microsoft's doing. My only solution has been to change email clients.
I have a recurring problem that I can't isolate. When I received emails from Homedepot or Gearbest.com and click the email in the inbox list it displays. However, when attempting to then click on another email the emails lock up Live mail for several seconds and then finally release their hold and allow me to move on. Not all emails from these vendors but the automatic emails that are generated after a purchase.
I know this is a confusing question and I apologize and am reaching out to anyone who may be having similar problems. Both vendor replies to my question(s) have not provided any information.
