Question

windows live mail

by Mesaman2 / July 9, 2013 6:13 AM PDT

When I am forwarding a message occasionally when I click on the To: box to add recipients the whole task bar is covered with a black bar and my contact list is blacked out. I close the program and re boot only to have the same thing occur. What is going on here. Are messages sometimes encoded so they cannot be forwarded? I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

Just a comment here. I see lots of questions and complaints about Windows Live. Frankly I won't go near it after dealing with its issues over the past year.

Based on your experience what would you suggest as an alternate to Window Live Mail ? I am using Windows 7 on a 64 bit PC.

Your choice, but I forgot something.

If forward fails, what's wrong with the old copy and paste to a new message?

As Microsoft drops the classic email client and goes web based, you can try Gmail, Yahoo web mail or maybe old fashioned email clients such as Thunderbird.
