Question

Windows Live IMAP/POP/SMTP help

Dec 7, 2011 3:40AM PST

Hello, I have been given a works email address and password to work from home. But I'm not sure what to do. I have been given a POP incoming and SMTP outgoing address (which I thought should be IMAP incoming), but they appear to be IP addresses which doesnt quite seem right. I've also been given the incoming and outgoing ports.Does anyone know where I start with this? He has sent a test email to the account which he would like to me reply too to check its ok, but I dont know what to do!Help!

But my employers email address isn't a windows live address, its a company email. He just told me to do it through Windows Live.

I thought it was a Windows Live address. For access issues with a workplace we have to defer to what they tell us and their support.
