Is it completely broken or are U able to backup your stuff?

I haven't had this happen in a good while (maybe 2-3 years), but when it did I was able to back up my email and contacts. Then I downloaded WLM from the MS web site and reinstalled it.

I was hoping not to have to do this but I guess I will have to try it. I have made copy of the emails. Thanks for your advice.

You could always go with Thunderbird

Thunderbird is another thing you could go with. A lot of folks in this forum use it. It will pretty much import all your stuff from WLM and work pretty much the same. I use it from time to time, and can attest to its reliability.
