Question

Windows & Internet Explorer update

Hi everyone. How are you today? Just need a little help from you. What is another way to update internet explorer? I want to update mine but there is no "update" put in the gear icon which should be indicated there based on my research in google. My internet explorer needs to update but Idk how right now. If there is no other way, maybe I should download a new version?
Thank you for your help in advance.

For IE goto the question mark

in the blue circle at the top right side of IE (Help for IE) then click about Internet Explorer and the version screen will come up and a check box to install updates automatically. My current version is 11.0.9600.19507. Being in my work environment I'm finding that because Chrome is update so fast with technologies IE is more staple to run applications. Plus we use Sharepoint and it just won't work with Edge, Chrome or Firefox. Then we has some apps that i need that require Chrome and other that require IE so I can't use just one browser.
