Two things to try:
1. Chkdsk.
2. See if you can delete it in Linux.
If no luck, see if you can hide it from it's properties. It's still there then, but you don't see it.
The sure solution:
1. Copy everything else from that disk
2. Format it
3. Copy everything else back.

Hi, I have a folder on an external drive of mine with strange characters in it: "║ƒÝ»&¾:.¥Uv". I am unable to delete and/or rename this file.
File Info = Size: 7,897,088 File Folder: ¥UV.
I can only view this file if I create a winrar file within the bad folder and click back whilst in the winrar archive file. The above file info is viewable only whilst in the archive.
Any suggestions would be very welcome and appreciated!
