Windows does not like moving from partition to partition, or you moving a clone of it to another drive connection.
Then again, some try this only to learn that lesson first hand.
I installed a new sata hard drive to replace my ide drive, all ok so far. I formatted my new drive, using Easeus Partition Manager 2009 and then used Paragon Drive Copy to copy everything over to the new drive. On restarting booting from my original drive things didn't work properly. I then decided to delete the partition on my new drive, easeus did a restart and then said it had completed the task but couldn't boot from the EPM boot disc, windows continued to load but got stuck before the account page.
I then did a repair install and re-installed sp1 and sp2 manually because windows update won't work. Now all I can do is go on the internet as none of my application won't work and windows has renamed my c drive as drive (E:) but all the file paths etc are C/ still. Have tried RegCure but this made things wosre, I couldln't even get on the internet then so had to roll back. Help!!!
