Question

Windows Explorer is not responding

I use Windows Ultimate 7th I have a problem because it started to
appear on the desk as a message content: WINDOWS EXPLORER IS NOT RESPONDING
Under than next tex:WINDOWS CAN TRY TO RESTART THE PROGRAM
and: 1. CLOSE THE PROGRAM
2. WAIT FOR THE PROGRAM TO RESPOND

What should I do? With respect....

- Does this happen for ALL users or just one?
- What happens if you choose 1 Close the program?

My
guess: there's a corrupted file on your desktop folder (or the All
Users desktop). Deleting that should solve the issue. You could do that
from another administrator account (always have 2 available!), from a
Linux Live CD or from the command prompt in the system recovery options
(see
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/668-system-recovery-options.html).


But it could be something else, such as malware that's starting when
Explorer starts. Then it's time for a clean install of you OS.

I am only a user.When I choose 1 all return to their place.But when this message appeared ,all icon are much smaller.I don't know what I can do.This stuff appear when you leave a game,does matter from whom(internet or game from hard disc).
