Took me a moment. The Alt+E would in old WFE (windows file explore) use the EDIT menu. I've never used that so it took me a moment to figure out why it didn't work.
No more Edit menu.
It's been gone for years it seems, Noted at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-desktop-winpc/wheres-the-edit-menu-in-file-explorer-simple/17648c63-d0d7-4739-bbec-3437a96f9d14

As to changing WFE, sorry folk, didn't find an easy way.
I am thoroughly frustrated with Windows 10 Windows Explorer. I am so used, when Copying / Pasting a file to go:
ALT+E + C(opy)
and then
ALT+E+ P(aste)
This is mostly using one hand. IN their eternal wisdom, MS decides to eliminate this very useful function, and now require using the mouse more .. or use
CTRL+C or CTRL+V
1) Anybody know WHY MS decided to eliminate these commands? Extremely irritating, when I'm so used to doing it this way for years... and then when I do it the old way, I get that stupid Webpage that wonders if I need help?? GRRR!
2) More importantly, anybody know of any software that can "give" this back to me.
BTW: I've got two PCs on Windows 7, and the one laptop on Windows 10. You can see how easy it is to forget which computer I'm on ....
