Windows Explorer appearence

Sep 8, 2005 10:24AM PDT

Hi

When I open some folder in Explorer, the background is sometimes a diferenc color from the usual black on white. Sometimes this makes the text hard to read. How do I change this?

Thanks
Robert

Click Tools, Folder options. Make sure the folder you are looking at is in the style you want. Click the View tab. Click the Apply to all Folders button. Close and reopen.

Windows Explorer folder background

Hi

Sorry to take so long to thank you for your reply.

But when you say ''Make sure the folder you are looking at is in the style you want'', how do I make the folder in another style - ie, a colorfull background. But I don't want to ''Apply to All Filders'' - I just want it to apply to just one folder.

Thanks
Robert
