It's up to you to use all five scanning tools I note at http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=1313&start=0 plus note that CWSHREDDER has a new home at http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html
Many are finding web hijackers do such damage.
Best of luck,
Bob
I am running a 3 year old Packard Bell Imedia with Windows ME - 20gig and plenty still left.
For no apparent reason - I have not altered any settings - when I go into my Freeserve IPS search engine I can get to the first website but as soon as I type anything in the search box to go to another site I get the message " Explorer has caused an error in USER.EXE. Explorer will now close"
My connection icons and Norton AV icon disappear from my toolbar but the connection is still there.
Is this something I need not worry about ??
Or I can I get it back to how it was with help from you, my friends out there??
Thanks in anticipation.
