I use Windows Live Mail from the Windows Essentials 2012 package. Unfortunately, Windows Live Messenger is part of that package, and every time my computer restarts, it launches WL Messenger (which I don't use and don't want) along with WL Mail which I do use and do want. It seems that every time I unselect 'automatically start' for Messenger, it apparently also unselects that option for Mail (or to put it another way, if I explicitly set WL Mail to automatically start, it also sets WL Messenger to automatically start even though I never explicitly set auto-start for WL Messenger).
Is there any way to get rid of Messenger and keep Mail? They do not show up as separate programs in the Apps list under Settings or under 'programs and features' in Control Panel. And even though WE2012 autostarts, it does NOT show up in the Startup pane of Task Manager at all.
