Windows error message

My computer has been shutting down on its own. I must temporarily disconnect it from the power source in order to restart it. When it restarts, I get a blue screen with this error message:
File name: VFAT(01) + 00006AA0 Error: 06: 0028: C0046500

By using alt+ctrl+del, it will restart (after scandisk). Then it will run for 5 - 15 minutes & shut down again. I haven't been able to run a virus check on it, because it won't stay up long enough.

The computer in question is the master for a home network. The slave has gotten the same error message once, but does not shut down. Could this be a hub or router problem?

The clue may be the time it runs for.

I'd be looking at a heat problem. Fans, heatsinks, etc.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
