The drivers for such must be installed before you plug USB things in. Also a real travesty is if someone installs a retail XP on a laptop, they rarely get all the drivers. No story is told and details left out.

More to read at http://www.usbman.com

Best of luck,

Bob

I would really appreciate your help in solving my huge problem. Thanks in advance for your support.

[c]:\program files with the name windrv. you cant delete this folder if u are using that windows. i have 2 windows therefore i run the second one and deleted that folder. if u have no other windows then boot ur computer on bootable floppy or cd. then go to the program files by the commands which is used in msdos(like cd [destination] to move, cd.. to come back, del [file] to erase, del.. to erase all the contents.

i am sure it came to my computer because i followed the link which somebody gave me in yahoo chat rooms. DONT FOLLOW ANY LINK FROM CHAT ROOMS.

Problem with "gotofind" solved - thank you

Hi colleague

Thank you very much. I could solve the problem by removing all files within windrv - you were right!!!
I started my windows with "save mode" and command mode, so I have been able to remove all files without a 2nd windows.
So finally i'm rid of that stupid bug - and as you guess - I've got that bud during a chat and opening a link sent to me. I'll never do that.
Once again - thank you for your help, you did me a big big big favour. What a great day! Regards, Marce
