Every time you run the "dir" command it "refreshes" the listing. Such a term is really kind of meaningless in the context of a command line, since every time you run the directory listing command it just reads whatever files are in the directory. So if some new file popped up between the last time you ran the command and now, it will show up.
I am very poor with command line in windows, need some help. I want to know if I could just refresh a mapped drive from command line without disconnecting it and connecting back? like we do with a F5 key!
or is there a way in windows we could refresh any folder from command line irrespective of whether that folder is opened in a window or not!
I am wondering if we have a command in command line where we could just pass the path of a folder and it could get refreshed!
I hope my question is clear, please help me. Any advice will be appreciated
Thanks in Advance!
