Windows cannot detect Digital Camera

Jun 9, 2005 12:54AM PDT

Hi,
I am trying to install a digital camera "zsmc" on Windows 98SE. However it is recognized as "Generic Digital Camera" by windows.
The camera is recognized and works fine on Win XP based systems.

The computer is a PIII machine.
Regards,
Arif

Some require drivers.

But I'm seeing some cameras to not have this old OS supported.

Do they have such a driver for you?

Bob

serial port, USB port...all require some Twain driver. I've had a hell of a time finding some...used camera...wanted to see how well it works. The more expensive the camera, the easier to find drivers at Mfg website. www.driverguide.com for some.
