Windows 95 won`t print..............

1] my PC was printing ok before I formatted HD.
2] I formatted the HD to start over/new; Some files
was corrupted/non funtional.
3] I`m using BJC-240 printer.
4] I need to know what, if anything, I can do to get
/my PC printing again?
5] Everything is working fine except this printer?
6] I tried installing/uninstalling with no help!

First off, please don't post your e-mail address unless you want to get a lot of offers for free Viagra. If you'd like me to delete the post, let me know.

Please go into more detail about item #6. What happens (or doesn't) when you try to install the printer driver? Step by step with exact text of any error messages please.

- Tried printer troubleshooter (in the help)?
- Assuming this is a parallel printer: does it work after boot in DOS? Try
copy \autoexec.bat lpt1:
(substitute other printable file if no autoexec.bat exists
- Diagnostics in printer driver?
- For all problems: note the exact error message.
