Resolved Question

Windows 8 Password

Oct 28, 2013 9:07AM PDT

Hi All,

I made the mistake of creating a password to sign into my personal computer and am now trying to undo it. Also, I am using Windows 8.

How can I eliminate the need for a password every time I use my computer?

Thanks in advance,
Bob

Basically your not rentering a password to login to the computer your logging into your Windows account whic windows 8 uses to do things.

is there are 2 types of accounts.

1. Local account -
A. No interest in connecting to the Cloud or the Windows Store
B. Not intersted in settings synced between multiple Windows 8 systems
.
2. Microsoft account - This is used to download metro apps from the store, syncing and MS email like (Outlook, hotmail)
