Just hard on users. https://www.google.com/search?q=the+remote+device+or+resource+won%27t+accept+the+connection&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 finds the usual about changing the auto detect settings.
I don't see much to work with your post here. Many antivirus suites start to do this when they expire.
I run Windows 8.1 Pro, and I haven't been able to connect to the wifi for a while. What's happening is, I try to connect to a non-google site and it doesn't connect. I troubleshoot for problems and it says "the remote device or resource won't accept the connection". The weird thing is, the browser (which is Chrome) is able to open google sites. Gmail and Google are working just fine. And my phone, connected to the same wifi signal, is connecting to sites just fine. It's my laptop that seems to be having issues. I've tried solutions like flushing the dns and a bunch of complicated instructions from other sites but nothing seems to work. Please help
