Question

Windows 8. "Boot device not found."

Aug 21, 2015 11:39PM PDT

Ok so I'm not what you would call a "tech guy" but I like tinkering and learning new stuff. Especially when it is about fixing problems with my stuff. Anyway, I had a lot of issues running slowly and lots of viruses so after a few questions for google I decided to download DBAN and run it to wipe my hard drive. Not thinking about the fact that it would also erase my os. So now when I restart it, it says "boot device not found." Hope this is enough info for someone to be able to point me in the right direction of what my next step should be! Thank you!

You have any installation or recovery disc? If not, then you need to contact the computer manufacturer to see if they can help.
