Resolved Question

Windows 8 - Adobe Flash Player

Jul 2, 2014 2:08AM PDT

Be gentle with me, I only understand the very basics

Laptop got a virus, went to get it fixed. All done. But now I can't download photos to Facebook, watch BBCIplayer, play some games on Facebook. It seems to be asking me to download Adobe Flash Player, but when I try to I'm told that I don't need to as it is built in to Windows 8. I have tried a variety of other things it suggests - enabling flash player, disabling Active X but nothing helps. Are there any simple things that I should be doing, or do I need to take it back to Mr Fixit (who hates Windows8 and had set it all up to look like Windows7 until I protested)
Thanks
