If that's the case, then open Device Manager, then "Display Adapters" and disable the graphics device you're not using. It should allow the computer to work without conflicts.
Hope this helps.

Every now and then my computer will freeze and i get an error message of either nvspcaps.exe has stopped working or "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 361.43 stopped responding and has successfully recovered," followed by a freeze. I have upgraded/downgraded my graphics cards multiple times with no effect. I have a NVIDIA Geforce gtx 970m with an on board intel hd graphics 4600 and I'm currently on windows 8.1. This freeze can be fixed by rebooting the computer, and it typically doesn't happen again for a while. Any help would be appreciated.
