Question

Windows 8.1 Issues

Apr 11, 2018 5:04AM PDT

I have been having the following issues with my Toshiba Laptop running Windows 8.1 -

‘Boot Up Menu’ at startup - asking which HDD to boot from when powering on laptop

Airplane mode frequently turning itself on

99% disc usage when barely any programs running

CTRL ALT + DLT not working on left side of keyboard

These issues came on suddenly all at once. I have ran multiple virus scans using different virus scanning software which have found no threats. I also did a factory reset of the computer but issues still persist.

I’m hoping someone else might have some ideas as to what’s causing these issues as I am really unsure what to do from here Sad

If issues survive a factory reset, it's likely to be caused by hardware issues. Have it repaired or buy a new one. How old is it?

I have had it for about 4 years.
