Windows 7 won't load

by n90smb10 / March 3, 2010 8:32 AM PST

I have tried all 32bit versions.First it tells me that my SATA driver can't be found. I downloaded it and worked that problem out.It goes through all steps but when it finishes loading, it says that it is not compatible and reloads XP. I thought that when I asked it to (custom) load everything previous to do with XP in one file that it would load windows 7. What else could be stopping this from loading? Is it possible that the wideo(even though it doesn't ask me for a new driver in the beginning, could be stopping this from starting?)

It is possible that your computer cannot run Windows 7. Did you check the Upgrade Advisor before installing Windows 7?

I ran the advisor and it told me that it didn't have a driver for the Uli Sata hard drive, or it might not work with the video (I forget which one for the moment)that I have. I found the driver that I needed for the hard drive on cnet and Windows 7 then loaded fine, but when it went to boot for the first time it said it was incompatible and it reloaded XP. It didn't say it wouldn't work with the advisor???
