If Toshiba customer support can't tell you what drivers to download or how to speed up the machine after this upgrade and what more you did (it's unclear how your privacy is related to the speed of opening a doc and to freezing screens), you're SOL.
How many W7 owners have had problems upgrading?
I updgraded same day and it went well until I tries to resize screen/ word documents/ emails.
It reads my Toshiba laptop as a generic screen?
My gmail does not fit on the screen
XL, word and PP all are distorted.
I only have to options 1024 or 800 screen?
I followed c/nets advise and took a bit of my privacy back.
Now I have to wait while files and doc open. If I double click the screen freezes and I have to reboot!
What forum can I turn to?
(Toshiba...has written off the 3-4 year old lap tops already...I bought this new 3 1/2 years ago...3D blue-ray intel i7 and am really disappointed. Entry laptop then was R4000 and I paid R12000...never used for gaming!
