Windows 7 -> Samsung EU46C6000

Sep 19, 2010 2:57AM PDT

Hello everybody,

I have a windows 7 installation and a samsung EU46C6000 tv. I would like to stream my music and movies to my tv from my pc.

If I use mediaplay on my tv I can select a movie or music and I can play it on my tv, no problems so far. But if I open the same files in mediaplayer and then select my tv it connects to my tv, but it won't stream to my tv. It says something like "connecting to mediaserver" and does nothing. I think that all the settings are ok, what could be wrong?

Ps. I also used only a crosscable, so without a router. Another tv (EU32C6000) and another windows 7 pc.

Basss28,

Unfortunately, I can't assist with Windows 7 configurations. Have you tried using the PC Share software to see if that helps? The software is designed for the TV, and while Win 7 can be used as well, other servers can deliver varied results.

Thank you for your quick reponse.

I did not tried the PC share software yet, but I will.

I know that is should be possible to stream from windows 7. I saw somebody do this on youtube. He also used a samsung led tv and did not have any problems. I think it is a firmware problem or something.
And I can't stand that it doesn't work for me Happy
