Windows 7 Remote Desktop on XP?

There are a few features of the Windows 7 Remote Desktop Client and was curious if it happens to be available to use on Windows XP? I use Windows XP at work and Windows 7 at home...

The news has been very clear on XP.

It's not being updated. It's unlikely a 7 app will run on XP but you could try it.
