The second time it was the old "trip up the install by formatting the drive ahead of time" issue. Fix? We removed all the drive partitions and let 7 partition the drive and install.

Now there is some talk about an old BIOS that caused this but I haven't seen that.

I was installing Windows 7 on my Windows ultimate laptop then this error came up "Windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer's hardware".
This happens everytime the installer reaches the completing installation point.
My laptop is an A300 PSAGCA - 03C010 satellite notebook.
2.27Ghz 4Gb ram 400 Gb harddrive and is Core2duo
