Question

Windows 7 I installed a virus, now I don't know what to do

Mar 26, 2017 9:31AM PDT

I recently installed a virus, but u clearly was unaware. After a day, I started getting the blue screen of death, and I tried running malwarebytes or any other antivirus software, however, every time I do so, it shows: "The requested resource is already in use" error. With that, I couldn't do anything. Another day passed, and I boot up my windows 7 PC to find no desktop whatsoever. It was black wallpaper, a sort of safe mode looking design, and my desktop icons are all gone. Can someone please help me? I really don't want to go buy another PC!

I ask the obvious question

How do you know this is from a virus, especially since you said none of them you tried even worked enough to reveal it was a virus?

Oh yes, I forgot to mention, now, any time I try to run anything (control panel, windows explorer, etc) I get an error message:

The remote procedure call failed and did not execute

What machine is this?......make and model.
Do you have backups?
Can you get into safe mode?
