Windows 7 full screen problems

Anyone find a solution to full screen problems with all games on windows 7??? Had vista home premium when I bought new pc and was sent windows 7 as promised by purchase...download was successful not problems with that...but all games are only half screen with black around them.....has anyone found a solution??

No such problems encountered here, but...

I replaced the default/generic graphics card drivers with the ones from the card's manufacturer and made sure that the games supported both the resolution and the widescreen format.

-> Do the same, then specify the make/model of that "new PC" if problems remain.
