Question

Windows 7 Display

Jun 29, 2017 1:54PM PDT

I just upgraded an old hp laptop (6560b) from vista to Windows 7 (32 bit). My display is now very zoomed in - stretched wide it seems. I have rectified two missing drivers, but still have an "unknown device" that I have no idea what it is or if it is what's causing the problems. Gmail only works in html and youtube doesn't work at all. Is this all related? I have basic/intermediate computer knowledge. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you in advance!

I have the 6560b and it runs Windows 10 and by sheer luck Microsoft's own drivers or driver finder works great.

Also, it's on a 64 bit Windows 10 so I can't guess why 32 bit for this old but fine laptop.

For drivers I head back to the machine's maker. I didn't look for drivers for my 6560b since W10 64 is all good.
