Windows 7 - Display Driver tripping out !

When watching DVD's or films, I receive warnings that Display Driver has failed. These symptoms shut my system down and i have to re-boot. I have tried to resolve this problem by downloading new Drivers, but to no avail ! Any suggestions out there ??
