Question

Windows 7 Desktop Computer to Samsung Smart TV

Aug 5, 2015 6:13PM PDT

How does screen mirroring work with Samsung Smart TV's? I have a HP desktop computer with Windows 7. How can I make the screen of my computer display/project onto my Smart TV screen? Or is there an alternative app to install/download to make this work? Thank you.

Answer
So far, screen mirror is for Samsung tablets/phones.

Can you share the exact model of this TV so we can see if any support for screen mirroring is there?

For most the old HDMI cable does this better than any WiFi. WiFi screen casting is too slow for HD video and gaming.

Btw...I didn't see a HDMI port on the back of my desktop computer. And there's no VGA port on the back of my Samsung Smart TV. Sad lol
