That's a start, but adaware and spybot really haven't managed to keep with the times, and will miss quite a few newer threats. Throw in Malwarebytes and see what it finds.
Also, if you have Spybot's teatimer running, that can cause issues like this.
I have a w7 computer. A couple of weeks ago it started doing something that I can't fix. About 1/4 to 1/3 of my clicks on a button or link in a program and sometimes just when I am moving the mouse or using a scroll bar the mouse pointer changes to the circle that goes round and round until some process is completed. (I think this is the replacement for the hour clock symbol in previous Windows versions.) When this happens it lasts for 30-60 seconds during which time I can't do anything with the computer.
I have Norton 360 and ran a virus scan. Also ran AdAware and Spybot scans. Nothing showed up. My next step is to take the computer back to a previous date and see if that clears the problem.
Is there anything else that I might try to fix this problem?
