I'm considering purchasing a used "HP Pavilion a1610n" desktop computer. The only specs I have are AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+1024MB Memory. 250GB Hard Drive. Graphics by NVIDA. I "think" it's maximum memory is 4GB. Can this computer run Windows 7 successfully?

I think the OS will run. But do you need drivers for the ethernet, video and audio? I don't see them at

So the OS may run but is that all you need?

I read at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00749158&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3239117 this came with XP so there are some Vista drivers but this machine looks to have no full Windows 7 support.

I would not buy this one.
