Question

Windows 7 boots into SLIC loader. Please help.

Mar 25, 2017 11:05AM PDT

My PC boots now in SLIC loader v 1.5.0 after scanning with SpyHunter 4.
Can anyone help me to boot my pc normaly? Or to load kernel from "grub" and then boot.

Looks Like Win7 Was Illegally Activated With A Boot Loader?

If that's the case, you'll get no help here as it's against forum policies.

You're also seeing why we normally don't recommend SpyHunter..

Hope this helps.

From memory Spyhunter at one time installed a root kit.

Back to them about how to fix. Here we don't touch their stuff.

Many with the problem in W7

SLIC appears on W7 computers.

I see you have "grub" on it, so some exposure to Linux along the way. Why not instead install a copy of Linux Mint 18.1 as so many former windows users prefer it anyway?
