Windows 2000 Pro Print Screen button

Jan 25, 2005 7:25AM PST

What would prevent the Print Screen button on a keyboard from working? We want to print a picture of the file folders on one of our drives.
Can a Windows Administrator block this?
Thanks from anyone out there....

Ksohnfoster, A Suggestion or Two

There are a number of suggestions in the "Newbies" tips thread at the link below. (I removed your post from that location because it was a duplicate of this one, and this one is the proper place for it.)Have you tried ALL of the suggestions mentioned..??:

http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6121-0.html?forumID=45&threadID=22053&messageID=638527

By the way, I just tried the press "Alt+Print Screen" method on two different Windows 2000 machines here and it worked fine. AFter pressing "Alt-Print Screen", then opening MSPaint, I clicked on "Edit" in the upper left of the Paint window, then chose "Paste", it works fine. I used it to print a view of all folders on the C drive.

Hope this helps.
